Project Description

DKMB & Associates, as a sub-consultant to The Pan Group, Inc., Architects was responsible for providing construction management services to The Govans Economic Management Senate (GEMS) for the construction of three (3) new single family residential homes. DKMB & Associates, as on site field representative, provided observations daily on progress of work, conducted construction and safety inspections, delivered verbal instructions to the contractor, verified on site materials, noted construction deficiencies and non-conformances and proposed and recommendated solutions for numerous site related issues. DKMB & Associates also organized, held, and conducted various project related meetings such as the Pre-Bid Conference, Partnering Sessions, and Progress Meetings on-site, offsite, and at the Client's offices. In addition, DKMB & Associates documented and resolved oustanding design/construction issues, reviewed and either approved or disapproved contractor payment requisitions,  and also kept the architect and client informed on project progress by way of memo's, meeting minutes, faxes, conferences, and private meetings.
