Bay Area Office Accessible Ramp/Deck
Project Description
As Architect of Design on a small and quick turn-around project, DKMB & Associates produced conceptual design documents for the construction of an accessible ramp and deck for the Bay Area Office (BAO). The accessible ramp and deck was designed and constructed to provide an employee only entrance to the office in addition to serving as an outdoor area for employee picnic's, lunches, and additional gatherings. As part of the design concept, an area for an outdoor grill, picnic tables and chairs, and a volleyball court was incorporated. The accessible ramp portion of the project complies with ADA criteria. DKMB & Associates provided a series of conceptual design documents to the client from which the project was constructed.
